Steph Cooper
Steph lives in Haxby York, and until recently worked for Christian Aid. Through her work with the charity, and through her experiences working and befriending Syrian refugees in York, Steph has been able to exercise her passion and love for others, particularly those marginalised by their circumstances. Steph is presently developing a local expression of ‘Peaced Together’ www.peacedtogether.co.uk, a project for women (at the moment) which uses craft to explore brokenness, of all kinds, and to seek healing and community. She has run a course at Haxby, and hoping to seed new ones across the Yorkshire and North East District. Steph and her husband Rob are also keen runners, and presently part of the local Park Run and seek to bless others, through their involvement in the group.
